Alpine Extended Training- Wednesday

Additional Alpine training sessions are held every Wednesday. Training times are 4:30pm to 7:00pm. This training is scheduled to start January 4, 2022 and end February 23, 2021. Racers who cannot attend two days per week may register for the day of the week that they wish to train. Extended training will better prepare our racers for the demands of competition. This program is limited to those racers who are presently enrolled in our Junior Racing Program and are competing in PARA at the U12 to U19 level. Note- training may be canceled due to weather not conducive for safe training or if race hill is being prepared for race events.

Alpine Ski PARA U16

The U16 Program is for alpine skiers ages 14 and 15 as of 12/31/2021. Athletes in this age class race at a high level of competition at events across the State of Pennsylvania. Previous race training is recommended. Athletes must be evaluated by Blue Mountain coaching staff to enroll. Program is scheduled to start Dec 11, 2021* and run every Saturday and Sunday through Feb 27, 2022. Participants must attend both weekend sessions. Program times are 8:00a to 1:00p. Race days start earlier and can run all day. Athletes are responsible for maintaining an active USSS membership and away event fees and lift tickets. A Season Pass or individual lift tickets are required to participate in the program. *Program start on-snow is dependent on Mountain having adequate terrain open.

Alpine Ski PARA U10/U12

The U10/U12 Program is for alpine skiers up to age 11 as of 12/31/21 that are interested in learning advanced racing techniques. Athletes will compete in sanctioned events competing against others that race in Pennsylvania. Previous race training is recommended but not required. Athletes must be interviewed and evaluated prior to enrolling in this program. Program is scheduled to start Dec 11, 2021* and run every Saturday and Sunday through Feb 27, 2022. Participants must attend both weekend sessions. Program times are 8:00a to 1:00p. Race days start earlier and can run all day. Athletes are responsible for maintaining an active USSS membership and race fees and away lift tickets. Note- U10 athletes typically do not travel to away races. A Season Pass or individual lift tickets are required to participate in the program. *Program start on-snow is dependent on Mountain having adequate terrain open.

Alpine Ski - PARA U19

The U19 Program is for serious alpine competitors ages 16 to age 18 as of 12/31/2021. Athletes in this age class race at a high level of competition at events across the State of Pennsylvania. Some athletes may qualify to race at regional and national events. These athletes will be required to ski on challenging race courses on difficult terrain. Ahletes must have previous race experience and be evaluated by Blue Mountain coaching staff to enroll. Program is scheduled to start Dec 11, 2021* and run every Saturday and Sunday through Feb 27, 2022. Participants must attend both weekend sessions. Program times are 8:00a to 1:00p. Race days start earlier and can run all day. Athletes are responsible for maintaining an active USSS membership and away event fees and lift tickets. At this level, an FIS license may be required depending on the level of competition. A Season Pass or individual lift tickets are required to participate in the program. *Program start on-snow is dependent on Mountain having adequate terrain open.
