Blue Mountain offers additional training sessions for Snowboard Cross and Ski Cross athletes every Tuesday and Thursday from Jan 3, 2023 through February 23, 2023. Training time is 5:00pm to 7:00pm. Skiers or riders who can not make two days per week may register for the day of the week that they wish to train. Elite Cross Team athletes may add a Wednesday session. Extended training will better prepare Cross Team athletes for the demands of competition. This program is limited to those racers who are presently enrolled in our Cross Team Program. Note- training may be canceled due to weather not conducive for safe training.

Advanced Cross Team Training

The Advanced Ski and Snowboard Cross program is for competitors ages 11-18. Athletes in this program train and compete in USASA sanctioned events. Some athletes may also compete in US Ski and Snowboard events. Athletes will be split into groups with age, ability, and discipline taken into consideration. Athletes must be interviewed and evaluated by our coaching staff to enroll. Program is scheduled to start Dec 10, 2022* and run every Saturday and Sunday through Feb 26, 2023. Participants must attend both weekend sessions. Training times are 8:00a to 1:00p. Competition days start earlier and can run all day. Athletes are responsible for maintaining an active USASA membership and travel and away race costs including event fees, lift tickets, travel, and lodging. A Season Pass is required to participate in the program. *Program start on-snow is dependent on Mountain having adequate terrain open.

Alpine Ski - PARA U14

The U14 Program is for alpine skiers ages 12 and 13 as of 12/31/22 that are interested in advancing their racing skills. Athletes will compete in sanctioned events competing against others that race in Pennsylvania. Athletes that have an established US Ski profile with at least one full season of racing history are eligible for this program. Athletes must be interviewed and evaluated prior to enrolling in this program. Program is scheduled to start Dec 10, 2022* and run every Saturday and Sunday through Feb 26, 2023. Participants must attend both weekend sessions. Training times are 8:00a to 1:00p. Race days start earlier and can run all day. Athletes are responsible for maintaining an active USSS membership and away race fees and lift tickets. A Season Pass is required to participate in the program. *Program start on-snow is dependent on Mountain having adequate terrain open.

Alpine Extended Training- Tuesdays

Additional Alpine training sessions are held every Tuesday and Wednesday. Training times are 4:30pm to 7:00pm both days. This training is scheduled to start January 3, 2023 and end February 22, 2023. Racers who cannot attend two days per week may register for the day of the week that they wish to train. Extended training will better prepare our racers for the demands of competition. This program is limited to those racers who are presently enrolled in our Junior Racing Program and are competing in PARA at the U12 to U21 level. Note- training may be canceled due to weather not conducive for safe training or if race hill is being prepared for race events.
